About the Club

The Club caters for owners, restorers of, and enthusiasts for, all Morris Commercial and successor Austin, Morris, BMC. Leyland Redline, Freight Rover and LDV vehicles, from 1924 to the present day.

Our Members’ Handbook is a very useful Club publication, which lists Members’ names and contact details, (unless specifically withheld), and most importantly, a list of vehicles and their owners.

This Handbook therefore provides a simple but informal potential network, which can allow Members, who own or restore a particular vehicle model, to contact fellow Members who have the same model. This enables the exchange of vehicle-relevant information and advice to assist the enquiring Member with his project.

The Club is a member of The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs, (FBHVC), and is thereby aware of forthcoming changes in Legislation, and the periodically-changing requirements of DVLA.

Furthermore, the Club is recognised by DVLA as an organisation supporting a specific make of vehicle (and their owners and fellow enthusiasts). In addition, it has an archive of contemporary vehicle dating information, plus access to the surviving local authority vehicle registration records. This enables the club to provide Members with assistance in getting a vehicle registered with DVLA, be it under its original registration number, if sufficient pre-1974 legacy information is available, or otherwise with an age-related registration number.
